100th Anniversary Celebrations

Ready to Celebrate!

As a Parish, we will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary in April 2026. Many parishioners remember the 75th Anniversary celebrations and we've been planning a similar year of events and opportunities to grow closer to God. These celebrations all start at the Kick-Off Party on April 11, 2026. We'll have an All-Parish Reunion Mass at 4:00 p.m. followed by the event at 115 Bourbon Street starting at 7:00 p.m.

Keep an eye on this page! We will be updating with more events as they are confirmed!

Kick-Off Party at 115 Bourbon Street - April 11, 2026

100th Anniversary celebrations will begin on April 11, 2026. We'll start the celebration off with an All-Parish Reunion Mass at 4:00 p.m. which will lead into the 115 Bourbon Street party starting at 7:00 p.m. This party will be a 21+ age event.

A special thank you to the committee for putting this together. They have been working hard on this event for months now and we are already seeing the fruits of their labor.

The Head Committee consists of Katie Conwell, Allie Boyle, Sue O'Rourke and Breda Lynch. This party will offer a chance at some amazing raffle baskets, as is tradition at 115 Bourbon Street! The Raffle Basket Committee are Andrea Ricca, Lisa Robin, Laurie Caputo and Colleen Clohessy. Also, merchandise! Be on the lookout for when these items become available. The team leading the Merchandise Committee are Lauren Nugent and our School FSA President, Katie Ramsden. Be sure to give them a shout-out when you see them at the event!

Tickets for the event will cost $50 and include an open bar, appetizers and a lot of fun! We plan on first selling tickets at the January 18, 2026 Masses; tickets will then be available online and in the Rectory.

St. Christina's Pilgrimage to Italy -

September 2026

To celebrate our parish 100th Anniversary, I’d like to invite you on a great adventure. Let’s make a pilgrimage to Assisi, Florence, Rome, and Bolsena - the hometown of St. Christina. Come and find yourself face-to-face with the living story of our Catholic Church. Pray and shout for joy at an audience with our very own Pope Leo XIV. Grow closer to St. Christina as we visit her grave and hometown.

Learn to love Sts. Peter and Paul, Sts. Francis and Clare, St. John Paul II, St. Carlo Acutis, and many more saints as we visit their homes and churches. And, of course, grow closer to Jesus Christ as we pray daily at amazing churches and shrines created in His honor. From the major basilicas of Rome to simple roadside shrines, on our pilgrimage you will store up countless experiences that will invigorate your faith and offer lifelong inspiration.

Our 100th Anniversary Pilgrimage will be traveling through Italy from September 16-25, 2026. There will be an information session about our pilgrimage on Sunday, July 27 at 11:30 AM in the Parish Center. I can assure you that this pilgrimage will be an experience to be remembered. There will be a lot of laughs, a lot of joy, a lot of memories, and a lot of God’s grace.
