Sacrament Fee - First Communion - $100.00 per Child
Sacrament Fee - Confirmation - $100.00 per Child

SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION FOR CHILDREN

The Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation is a two-year process - Children are to be in St. Christina Religious Education Program for one year prior to the year in which the sacrament is to be received. This is mandated by the Archdiocese of Chicago.

If your child is making First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion during the 2025-2026 School Year (2nd Grade) a copy of the child's baptismal certificate will be required at registration, even if you were Baptized at St. Christina.

If your child is making Confirmation during the 2025-2026 School Year (8th Grade) a copy of the baptismal certificate and First Holy Communion Certificate will be required, even if you were baptized and made Communion at St. Christina.

Children that have missed a sacrament - Do you have a child who has not been baptized? Or a child who missed making Communion in second grade? We can help! Any child under the age of 7 can have a short class with their parent and get baptized. Any child from ages 8-11 can enroll in our Faith Formation program and get baptized and continue with their sacrament of Reconciliation and Communion through our classes.

If your child is baptized but did not make First Reconciliation or Holy Communion in second grade, we have a Reconciliation/Communion Preparation class that meets a few additional times during the year. Please contact the Religious Education Office at religioused@stchristinaparish.org.
