About Our Youth Ministry

The Mission of our Youth Ministry is to gather the youth of Saint Christina on a journey that will bring us closer to Jesus Christ and the Church Community.

The young people of Saint Christina Parish are offered many opportunities to grow in their faith through comprehensive Youth Ministry with dynamic liturgies, retreats, service projects, leadership development, athletics, theater troupe and social activities for Junior High, High School and College students.

Youth Minister Tim O'Brien has run the program since 2023 with great success! The group typically meets following 5:00 p.m. Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Be sure to join the Monday night Youth Ministry softball league hosted by Jack and the incredible St. Christina Fields group.

Youth Ministry Mass and Meeting - April 21, 2024

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, we had our Youth Mass. It was well attended and has increased from a few to about 20 and we hope it continues to GROW. The young people attended Mass as a group. They went over to the gym to get to know each other, prayed, sang, enjoyed gym activities, and ended in the Ministry Center for what every youth needs - FOOD. This program is for junior high, high school, and even college students. During the summer they will have a softball league and a retreat.

Superhero Pancake Breakfast - May 31, 2015

The St. Christina Youth Ministry would like to thank all of you who supported this event, which helped raise funds for our upcoming Mission Trip this summer. The breakfast was a great success, especially for the little ones, many of whom came in their own costumes to meet our superheroes! Our raffle baskets were awesome and the winners very grateful!

We would also like to thank the young people who worked very hard all day and our special cooks in kitchen: John Mahoney, Deacon Stan Rakauskas, Bill Bresnahan, Gary Nothnagel, and Rick Gutierrez. The young people involved absolutely loved the event and can’t wait to host it again next year!
