Sodality Purse Party
We will be hosting a "Purse Party" at our next Sodality/Women's Club meeting on Wednesday, February 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the school hall. We will be putting together purses for women in need, which we will donate to A New Direction.
A New Direction is a program of WINGS which serves clients out of an office in the Beverly/Morgan Park area. Along with a presence in the community to raise awarenenss and educate, they provide the following: domestic violence education; crisis intervention, safety planning, counseling, and support; resource referrals; legal advocacy to navigate Illinois' legal system for divorces, orders of protection, parenting plans, and child support cases.
Please bring any of the following items to donate:
- new or gently used purses
- key chains
- pens and small notepads
- nail files
- hand lotion
- chapstick
- purse-size combs/brushes
- small tissue packs
- mints/gum
- hand sanitizer
- tampons
- gift cards (small denominations) for grocery stores, coffee shops, gas stations, fast food
All are welcome! Please spread the word.

It's time for SINGO! (It's Bingo but with music!)
Join us on Wednesday, January 21st at 6:30 p.m. in the School Hall for some fun! (Elevator available.) Bring $5 cash to play and a Bingo Badder if you have one. Dabbers will be available if you don't have your own. There will be PRIZES for winners!

Thank you to all who came to the December Meeting and to the Merry Merry Chicago outing! Thank you SO MUCH to all who helped make the following donations:

At the meeting, a motion was made to donate $250 to the Durkin Children; St. Christina students whose father died suddenly last week. Before the meeting was over, an LRC winner donated her $75 winnings back, and a member offered a donation of $175 to make the donation $500! Thank you to these generous members! A check was put in the Family's mailbox. Keep the Durkin Family in your prayers.
