Fish Fry

March 2026

Another incredible year of the Fish Fry in the books, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make our 31st Annual Fish Fry a success. This event simply would not be possible without the dedication of our amazing volunteers that show up faithfully without hesitation. A special thank you goes to Mike Grant of Wonderburger, Mr. Rob and his hardworking maintenance crew, the Friday afternoon set up crew, our enthusiastic seventh and eight grade volunteers, Mr. Carm and the Boy Scouts and all our volunteers.
We are incredibly thankful for our placemat sponsors including: Femme Beauty Lounge, Healy Real Estate, Lorenz Real Estate, JVB Physical Therapy, Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, Bush Eye Care, Schools Are Us, Calabria, Sinclair Auto and Ford.
A big thank you goes to our dependable neighborhood Barraco's pizza for partnering with us to bring pizza to the menu- it was a huge hit! We also appreciate Fr. Wayne for supplying all the water, Waffle House for donating bread and the McGlynn family for donating juice boxes and beverages. In addition, we are thankful to Dan Mugavero and Caley Larkin, our neighborhood music artists, for their live entertainment.
Most importantly we would like to thank our wonderful neighborhood, whose continued support allows us to come together each year to share in fellowship. Your generosity has allowed us to give back to our very own community. This Lent the Fish Fry provided 66 meals to the St.Christina Homebound and 44 meals to Mt. Greenwood Special Rec. In addition, we helped sponsor the St. Christina Southside Irish Parade float. Moreover, we raised $1,000 in honor of the late Sue Barry who was an integral part of the fish fry crew. We will present a check in her name to St. Christina Homebound meals.
Thank you for another amazing year of fellowship. See you 2/12/27!
With love, The Fish Fry Crew
Katie Conwell, Bill Bresnahan, Julia Tracy and Breda Lynch
